Xi’s overriding goal,德國瑞士:習上台、人權惡化

“Xi Jinping is often described as China’s most powerful leader in decades, perhaps even since Mao,” writes Ian Johnson. “But rather than significant innovation, Xi’s overriding goal seems to be preserving the ossified system he inherited when he came to power in 2012.”


As Xi Jinping completes his third year in office this month, the credit he’s been given as a leader—for pursuing a rigorous foreign policy, economic reforms, and a crackdown on corruption—seems more and more mistaken.
