香港大學法學院今日舉行研究生畢業禮，高等法院上訴法庭法官兼終審法院首席法官馬道立之妻袁家寧，亦有出席任主禮嘉賓並致辭。民陣前召集人、香港大學人權法碩士畢業生楊政賢上台時，舉起「Stay Strong and Fight Against Tyranny」的標語。
楊政賢向《立場新聞》表示，畢業禮不是純粹領取證書或獎學金那麼簡單，最重要是對於自己學習的總結，尤其是近年香港的政治環境，包括釋法、警察濫權、行政機構不斷踐踏法治和三權分立等，令很多人非常沮喪。
他自言對所學的總結就是對人權的追求，且必定不會跟中共暴政妥協，所以要「fight against tyranny」；「stay strong」亦是要回應現時的處境，明白大家都很沮喪，希望鼓勵一同在法學院畢業、將來投身法律界或公職的同學。
